1/2 a kilo of Blackberries picked from the thornless blackberry tree in 5 mins this afternoon. Probably about 10kg to go !! If anyone wants a thornless blackberry tree send me a PM with your postal address and I'll pop a rooted one in the post. (Euro coin used for sizing )

Look succulent,Ali,a lovely crop.Made a crumble last week with the last of the ones we picked by the river last year.Always make lots of bramble jelly-delish.

Send 'em later in the year when they'll transplant better? Agreed. If I get the roots going well and strongly now they should be ready for despatch in Sept. Having said that they do seem rather difficult to kill Madame Moorhen tried to kill one and failed

Excuse me! You gave me a 'dead' plant!!! (which is now romping away) Blackberry fence is now erected as the couple of nearly ripe ones had mysteriously disappeared down the throat of a duck.
