A quick update on the boy........ he is good at night now, settling almost immediately instead of wimpering and throwing himself at the kitchen door. He is over "the Op",and doesn't need his tights. The daily walks around the lakes are being used to try and stop him pulling on the lead, difficult with his energy level! He is gentle with Tilly, who had a bad day and a night at the vet's recently. He has decided to act agressively towards other dogs, but we are hoping it's something that will improve with socialation. All in all life with Fada is a daily joy and we are so pleased we have him.

Sorry to hear Tilly has been ill.Good news re Fada. Can't you let him off lead at the lake?Think they feel as if they have to protect you if attached.Ours isn't that friendly with other dogs but little ones she wil play with.Off lead she will let big dogs do a sniff or two but if they persist she warns them off with a growl and bark and can run away from them.Always put her on lead if other dogs are on lead. The more they socialise the better it gets.So pleased for you

His last "performance" was from his crate in the back of the car. JBC opened the back to show this chap THE new dog and bam he went ballistic. I agree with you about the protection aspect, unfortunately not many dogs go around the lake so I think the Janze Dog club might be the keyalso it is early days to expect perfect behavior.
