Well it appears that there is a little readership fan club going on of our 'whats for tea' thread - so please don't think that nobody is watching just coz not many post !! Ok, tonight we had chicken tikka biryani, vegetable curry and it was stunning. I'd like to post the recep up of the biryani (spl) if anyone would like to try - very easy and yummy! Any chuck recipes please. Got 6 cockerels to top, and getting fed up with "au vin"!!

Meaty treat tonight - Steak, home-made bearnaise sauce, fried mushrooms, salad & homemade oven 'chips'..... Oooooooo love steak! Theres some really good ones @ Lidl, pre-marinated. They cook up lovely and tender. I'm always scared of cooking 'real steak' over here.

Spag bol - kids will complain as we had cottage pie last night and so it'll be mince two days in a row!! Troll - how about "coq au cidre?" A regular one in this household with OH's home brew rough cider. Also good for cleaning windows and paint stripping.

Last night we had spaghetti with home made pesto mixed with creme fraiche which was lovely. Tonight is roast chook with all the trimmings except (British) chipolatas which I don't have enough of to cook every time we have roast chook! And some roast potimarron as well.
