I've been cracking the walnuts already! Broke yet another nut cracker newly bought - bloody French ones are rubbish. My old English ones lasted me 20 years! Still cracking last year's walnuts too as they are perfectly good, but I've saved a bag to give to squidgy during the winter (our red squirrel(s)). The ones we still have from 2009 will be used as target practice for he who now owns a real rifle.

No silly ;D it's not for crimbo day, I've got a crimbo pud for that. I think I might make it for New Year's day - although as there's only 2 of us it will last a few days!
