Well it was a decisive majority. The problem will always be that when the UK suffers a terror attack (and it is only a matter of time), all those who said don't bomb Syria will say I told you so. In my considered opinion it will make no difference whether we bomb or not. The UK is a target because isis hate everything we as a Western nation stand for. Freedom to live your life as you wish.
We were already in a coalition attacking isis in Iraq, to me it makes no sense to not attack their stronghold in Syria. Let us not forget we are not in this alone, the number of countries who are backing the coalition is growing all the time as isis continue to murder innocent civilians wherever and whenever they choose. There are already some "boots on the ground" in Syria, Britain is backing these with co-ordinated air strikes as are France, the US and Russia. I have no doubt that to defeat this evil it will ultimately need more than airstrikes and if these ground troops can be made up of countries closer to the problem then that can only be a good thing. The more countries become involved, the more intelligence, and co-operation, the quicker this evil can be eradicated.

unfortunatly I don't think bombing will eradicte isis, more bombing will bring more people to the cause and the only coilition member who won't be attacked is america(who will carry on pulling the strings).Isis will change its name its form, its place of operation and continue on.
