In my opinion(and I am sure someone will challenge me on this), I think the European politicians need to wake up. Anybody who leaves "their country" to go and fight for the Islamic state should have their passport cancelled and be banned from ever returning to that country. If that makes them stateless then let them go and live in the country they were fighting for. What is that I hear? human rights? In this senario we are dealing with murderers, rapists, child killers and torturers. Not human beings in my book. If you want the luxury of human rights, learn to be a human beings. What a wonerful idea, strip them of their passport and make them stateless. How many people are we talking about?Lets say,for arguements sake,1000,thats 1000 people floating around in a nether world, meanwhile back in their "home" country they have family, mother and father at least, this now makes, just for ease of calculation,2000 potential in situ "terrorists".Just because you have decided to make their children stateless. Now add in their siblings and friends and who knows how many more "active terrorists" you have created. In the meantime you now have to pay for the policing of these "so called terrorists",not to mention the cost of years in court costs that will ensue from the inevitable court cases due to the stateless person being made stateless.Where do these stateless people live?In the country they were fighting for you say but what happends if that country has been wiped off the map? who then pays for that or are you dumping the problem on someone else? Stripping them of their passport makes no sense, better to let them return and use them to disuade others from following the same route as them. But then again knee jerk reactions and ill thought out policies have brought us to where we are now.

Strange how we can live in a society that panders to wrongdoers. And its not just the charlie hebo terrorists and people who incite hatred: we have courts where the victims are on trial and excuses made for perpetrators; MP paedos who are never brought to book, because they know the right people; the list goes on.......

They all have their human rights it seems, but I don't see why a criminal should be entitled to them when they haven't respected those of their victims.

The criminal always seems to have more rights than the victim.
