BE,Sounds a very difficult person and a shame she has been allowed to get away with it all these years.Too late now I suppose but still the wife's Mother.Brought my Mum 80 and OH's auntie 93 over to live with us so know how it can be.At least you took the time to visit her-well done under the cicumstances.

This is more a what I did........JBC had to go for a minor op today. We had to arrive at the Hospital at 7am,crack of dawn, were shown to a beautiful, spotlessly clean room with TV and bathroom.Gown etc all ready, but when the nurse came in with the razor I did a vanishing act. I went back at 2.30pm to bring him home and all was fine. The whole thing from discovery of the hernia to op has taken less than 2 months and that included a delay due to a UK visit.I am so impressed with the French medical experience,it ran so smoothly....masses of paperwork but still brilliant.

today I am getting ready to take charge of Mickael's 3 tonight for the week end. Tomorrow it is table tenis competition with mine and Mickael's youngest for the day. Sunday is going to be catching up with the washing.......

......going shopping, (well this morning I hope) otherwise the dogs will be starving by this evening. Don't have anything else planned though, like Em I may catch up with my washing, though today rather than Sunday. Oh, good luck at the table tennis Em.
Pleased to hear all was well with JBC, Britchick. I too have nothing but praise for the French health system. They were exemplary during my late wifes cancer treatment, even down to the 90 minute taxi ambulance ride to Rennes and back each weekday for her radiotherapy.
