......waiting for an email from a prospective helper (through helpx.net) who would like to come and stay as early as next week. She's currently helping in Basse Normandie which makes collecting her a whole lot easier. Other than that I would like to make Pennsylvania Chowder for this evening's meal, so will be cooking that this afternoon and listening out for the Newcastle match score at the same time.....Who said men can't multi task??

Never do any ironing nowadays....I find that if I do wash a 'best' shirt that if it's dried on the line with as few creases as possible they become insignificant....the same word could be applied to the number of times I need to wear a 'best' shirt LOL.
When my late wife worked on the production line at Sagem in Fougeres (2003/4 I think) she had to wear a white 'lab' coat which had to be laundered and pressed each week. She detested ironing so I got the job.....

Was going to look for a garden Christmas dec as we have the Australian Grand children here at Christmas. Drove into Centrakor's car park and straight out again. It was manic. The same at the U,goodness knows what the rush was for. Home to watch the rest of the Welsh/SA rugby match and now just waiting for dinner to finish cooking.

Ironing I do lots but I have one of those pressure steam iron things, so in general only have to iron the front....... It's nice to have family for christmas but the shopping and stress is increased lol. Britchick hope your other half is feeling ok.
My weekend started fine apart from having a very long day friday I was adjusting the length of the t-shirt the club had given my step daughter at 19.00. It was the smallest size in but as they have changed mark of t-shirt it is the same size as the one my son has at 2 1/2 years older and he is very tall for his age. It arrived at her knees lol!!!! It took up about 20cm!! But I couldn't cut it so it hangs very straight with the weight....... Table tennis, started well for my son he came out with enough points to arrive 1-4 possition he was marked for 1st and to go regional he's playing deperatmental. Next match to go to final we had the father of the other bot as judge of the match, lets just say he used his possition to "fix" the results and de stablise my son, so he lost that match. I managed to get another judge for the final for the other child and his son was promtly eliminated and came second. My son won his next match and came third. He was not at all happy to say the least. Put it down to experiance but he has played him before but I had no idea how his father worked now I know he will be replaced at every chance I get so he can not judge a match against a player in our club!! My step daughter came 16 out of 17 but as she is only 8 and playing against 9,10, and possibly just 11 year olds it's not bad at all.
So we get back and the kids jump out the car running off to be first in the house Kenan(Mickael's middle son) had to be first but in his haste missed a step and fell. Problem is our front steps are made of stone. After putting my first aide training to good use I put his arm in a sling and sent them off to emergency saying fairly sure his arm is broken...... His arm is broken and he is in plaster for 3 weeks!! Second time this year he has broken same arm but not in the same place.
Sunday wasn't too bad but I think we had our dose Saturday. Mickael rang his mother who fell friday leaving the house and said nothing and now has a very bad knee!!!!
As for what I am doing today well, cleaning, washing, ironing, cooking
