Today I'm back from a 3 day visit to my mum-in-laws in Shrewsbury. Wouldn't mind but even though we told both her and her carer the dates, reinforced for Mum by a letter, she still had other things arranged for the two evenings we were there!!!!! Stupid old git!!! BE Now! Now! BE.You'll be old and awkward yourself one day.

We do have 4 large wardrobes and 5 chests of draws for clothes here and some times things seem to vanish perphaps the loin or witch pinched them, socks seem to win prizes just one mind not a pair!!!!!! I never got round to the wardrobe it was a rubbish day I seemed to get nothing done. On list today are yesterdays jobs lol.

Em : I have two wardrobes both of which contain Winter and Summer clothes. Sadly, neither of them allow me to travel interdimensionally. Being on your own means you can be more organised with most things and rarely do socks etc. vanish. That makes me sound very organised which I'm not LOL.
Not sure what I'm doing today. My anthracite is still 'on hold', though I suspect it may turn up today or tomorrow. Either way, I'll need to shop for dog and cat food before the weekend.

BE Now! Now! BE.You'll be old and awkward yourself one day. What you don't know is that Anne's mum is a self centred old beggar. Everything has always had to revolve around her. A few years ago she had a stroke whilst Anne and I were in Brittany and we set off immediately for Shrewsbury. 15 hours later after an overnight ferry crossing we arrived wearily at her bedside to find her in fairly good health. Some church going friends of hers turned up and she said to them that they could stay and we were to go away and come back the next day! The next day she tore Anne a strip off for giving a neighbour some strawberries that would have been wasted anyway. She was so loud that nurses came running into the ward to see what the noise was. The ultimate though (so far) is that on our wedding day as Anne and her Dad were having a photo taken of them leaving home for the church she said that when things went wrong (note not IF)in our marriage she wouldn't be welcome back at her old home. The woman is a conniving old git! BE
