Hello All
Apologies if this has been raised before but does anyone know where I can buy Quorn? Sadly too many steaks, prawns, butter and all the yummy stuff has taken its toll and am not anxious to start swallowing the statins just yet, would prefer to have a go at the diet method of clearing the arteries. We are in north west 56 and have searched local Leclerc plus Intermarche without success.

Hi, Southpork (tehe, I suppose pork is out of the question too) Do you have a Biocoop near you? We shop in the one in Carhaix and I have seen products like that in there, not sure I've actually seen Quorn but they do stock tofu. I believe they also stock tofu in Chinese shops, we use the one in the Geant complex in Quimper. Happy shopping!

I don't think you'll find any Quorn in France unless it's in the 'etranger' aisle. Because both my late wife and I were vegetarians (I 'converted' when we moved over but have since 'lapsed'), I emailed Quorn to ask which supermarket we could buy some from, only to be told they had no distributor for Quorn here..I don't think it was a market they thought they could break...can't stand tofu by the way...

I wouldn't call tofu a meat substitute, it's soy bean curd. I'm not a vegetarian but am watching my weight and cholesterol and I really like it - 'Mr Elkay' has just cooked a really yummy Thai green tofu curry
