This was a standard recipe Thai green curry usinf green curry paste(I'm proud to say with peppers and aubergine still from the polytunnel - I grow, he cooks) with noodles and to be honest it was SO tasty that the fact the texture of the tofu mingled with the texture of the noodles didn't matter one bit

Oh and by the way Elkay if weight is a consideration try using cauliflower as a substitute for rice. I pulse cauliflower florets in a blender until they resemble grains of rice/barley then cook with a stock cube and some spices. Can use it to stuff peppers etc too.

I have no idea if there are any left but the "english" shops over here stocked it frozen along with sausages and bacon etc. Last I knew about was at Seglien in dept56 In the diet food section of the supermarket you can find other examples of similar veggi options and I think the soya meat and mixes.

Hi Em
Thanks for the info, don't know any 'english' shops in our neck of the woods but am busy experimenting with Bio coop products much to the apprehension of Mr S who's carnivore days are now just a cherished memory - think he feels a bit like the last fox in Quorn, view halloooooooooo
