S'pose it happens in every household .......... she likes this ........... he prefers that.........
However, flipping Garmin GPS phah.
I prefer Tom Tom, works fine and if I want an updated map it doesn't take long to download and get it.
He prefers Garmin, works fine and if he wants an updated map it takes all afternoon to download it!
His downloading of the latest mapping for his blardy Garmin has knocked me out of work all afternoon! Couldn't use the net coz everything was so slow during the heafty and elongated download from a very slow server and a **** system.
Grumble grumble..........
Do you use GPS? If so which one do you prefer?

Tom Tom for us, but my son uses a special cycling Garmin for his long distance biking.
We've tried all the Tom Tom voices, but Alan likes Jane, otherwise known as 'Miss Strict'!

I have iPhone, Sue has Android.... I have a love hate relationship with my iPhone, she really likes her Android. My iPhone contract is up next week and I THINK I'm going to get another but if I can get a top of the range Samsung Android I'll be very tempted. BUT there's far more apps avaiable for iPhone really usefull things like Smule Ocarina and Shazam (google it)
BTW I've had Garmin and TT and TT is way better, especially the latest software that lets you put in Lat/Lon which was my only real winge with it

Is an Android something like the Terminator? The Terminator will tell you how much trouble he has downloading latest Tom Tom stuff, to the point he wants to throw the whole thing in the bin as there are so many gremlins in the works - plus the fact 'she' (that Irish woof) tries to tell us to drive into the sea or up goat tracks in the mountains. He wants to use the satnav on his fancy phone but I haven't learnt how to use it yet so we stick with the tom tom plus maps, cos without printed out maps quite frankly we would not get where we wanna go.
