Hi!
I'm a babe magnet. I'm not married, which is the first thing that women want to know, but I do have children, which is the second thing that women want to know. I have, in fact, 8 children, by as many different mothers. So a babe magnet, then....
I'm strong of jaw and thick of thigh. I drive a flash car and am not without money. These things women also want to know.
I have a touchy-feely side. Every day I rescue a spider from the bath and put it outside. Whenever a young mother drives her all-terrain buggy into me, then glares at me for not getting out of her way quick enough, I apologise and say "What a lovely baby you have!"
Oh, and sometimes I say things which don't have the slightest vestige of truth.
See you all around the forum!

Yes, thanks BC. To avoid any misunderstanding I would like to point out that the virility thing was in the past. Now the mind is willing but the flesh is weak.... All that glitters is not gold, chere Ali. It might be better to avoid being magnetized already... See yourself rather as a rabbit dazzled by the lights of an on-coming car. Rarely is this good news for the rabbit... although in your case I would draw on my touchy-feely side and plough into a hedge rather than run you over

I am not really new on here as I was one of the first members but I have got out of the habit of using this forum regularly and so feel a bit out of it if I do pop in. So thought I would start again as if I was a newbie.
I am Sally, spend about 5 months in Finistere, 5 months in the UK (either in Exmouth or on a narrowboat somewhere) and the other 2 months in Spring and Autumn in a mountain village in North West Bulgaria.
I was a teacher and am an artist and my husband, Richard, retired early from being a Public Finance accountant.

Hallo All,
The Wench is back. Don't know for how long, but just to report that we are all....alive. Ali sent me a sweet concerned e mail a while back, sorry I did not answer, dear heart, but in the long catalogue of Events that we have had in the past two years.....OH's aged parents moving over here as he is he only relative left to care for them; me taking care of them; Father in Law (82) totalling their car, Mother in law (79) rapidly declining from emphysema and heart disease; car troubles resulting in me and kids missing ferry by a half an hour to long awaited family reunion in Ireland, including my American nephews - whom I have still never met. Death in rapid succession of my car in a crash, followed by my Mother in Law, hence car panic as Dave only has a van. Most farcical funeral in history ( get me to tell you about it one day) Wrangle with MSA over payments. Mini stroke by FiL; French Notaires and British lawyers locking horns over Mi'Ls will...... and they were the highlights.
Luckily we are pulling out. F iL is much better, sprogs are astounding, business is booming and even the will looks like it might be settled after 20 months. And I have a car that works. Small mercies, people, be thankful for the small things..........
