Ahh...Pamela Geller...the woman who makes Donald Trump look like a left leaning liberal...barred from entering the UK in 2013 for establishing anti Muslim hate groups and a supporter of the English Defence League.....

If somebody read my posts and it helped them to avoid a disastrous beginning or end to their annual holiday then I doubt they would criticise where the information came from or the fact the English version was not a direct translation.
No wonder this forum is dying.

Ok, so here's a link to the Daily Express article about the protest : www.express.co.uk/news/world/704252/Calais-lorry-drivers-cause-traffic-hell-snail-protests-anger-over-migrantsIn my opinion, the Pamela Geller article wasn't a translation of the France3 article but a comment on it. It may have been helpful to those travelling to Calais, but what it certainly did was present a view from someone whose observations originate from thousands of miles away. It has been suggested that more vigorous and divergent postings may help attract members, I'm not so sure. However, what we have to present in those postings is a balance of views.

My final reply to this crap.
Odd isn't it, everywhere else I posted those links I was thanked for the info, but not on here!, on here I get attacked because I use the words "English version" incorrectly (in your opinion) or you do not like the source.
Maybe I should stick to photo competitions.
Remember this?
"We can't afford to have folks leaving or feeling like they can't post..no matter which side of the political divide you adhere to...."
Really?
I posted some important and useful information, you are trying to turn the thread into something else.

Honestly your original posting was appreciated and I apologise for not acknowledging that. However, I was a bit perplexed as to why you posted your next link when finding a more informed UK source was just as easy.
Yes, I still stand by the need to have every side of the political divide represented on here. Maybe this thread shouldn't have gone down the political route and I'll refrain from adding to it further.
BTW, you may not agree with my views or what I post, but I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't refer to it as 'crap'.
