Glorious weather this week ....a real indian summer.
However, I am wondering whether we may be in for a hard winter. The squirrel that lives in our attic every winter usually turns up at the end of october - spends a few nights getting his nest in order, and then settles down until spring.
This year, and for te past wek he has turned up early and is beavering about up there, and I'm wondering if this is a sign of an early onset to winter?
Anyone know if this is likely to be the case.
Britchick, I remember you had a what was probably a squirrel in the attic last winter - is yours back yet?
