Any recommendations for the biggest/best markets in the Finistère area? I have seen the list of markets on AI but it was not very accurate for Limousin. Also interested in details of any summer/tourist/ evening markets , thanks in advance for any info.

Chere Noodle,
I'm based in the UK, and so can't be very helpful with your query, but I would like you to know that I'm in the market for an attractive young woman like yourself.
Hope this helps.
Yours, until my dying day, annon xx

Caehaix market on a Saturday morning is very good but don't forget to look in areas near you in 22 and 56. The market on a Tuesday morning in Rostrenen (22) is very good and is within easy reach of you

You will find that Rostrenen is closer to you geographically than the far ends of Finistere!

Morlaix market is good as well. I use it a lot. Try the Boucherie a la ferme for your meat on the way to Morlaix its open Wed and Friday but he will open up for you if you give him a ring. There is also a market on a Monday in Guerliscan it is supposed to be good.

This is the moment to come clean ...not a popular thing in France but I don't eat meat. (of some 30 years, not a campaigner, just fussy!) But I will check it out as my other half is very much a carnivore, from what I have seen of Morlaix, I like it very much, so I am looking forward to visiting on market day. At the moment, if I go out I feel bad that I am not doing the stuff I should be doing at home and then if I stay in I feel I have wasted the day as there is so much new stuff to see and do. Hard life eh? Thanks Sabjac

Elkay, I have not been to Rostrenen yet, hopefully we will be doing soon. I have quickly realised that we are very much on the boundary in terms of departments so 29 is not the key, just reasonable traveling distance from where we are.
