Yes, done it, tried 3 times and failed so after posting all about it, I lost what I'd written each time, so, did it this way. Can anyone tell me what the plant is, if they have it or know of it. I need to know what size it grows to before putting it somewhere, it's from last year and just can't remember, thanks if you can help out.

I'm here! But I don't recognise it. Obviously when it has flowers that'd make IDing a bit easier. Sorry.

Hi Madame Moorhen,
got a feeling this won't flower, so far it's getting bigger, I need to re-pot, but seems to be going along rather than up. So if anyone else knows, still interested please.
Looked on your blog M. Moorhen, love your photographs can i ask what camera you use?

Are you sure its not a bindweed if its growing "along"? If so get rid pronto!!! Did you plant this sunnymay or did it just pop up in the bed? On the other hand it might just be a violet or viola looking at the leaf shape and the flower bud - lets hope its them rather than flippin' bindweed!!

It's not anything like bindweed!
It may be a variety of Houttuynia as although that's more common as the multicoloured leafed plant, there are more greeny versions and I found this photo which looks quite like yours (ignore the text, it's NZ blathering on about this is an introduced invasive plant). These are creeping ground cover plants which often like fairly moist to boggy conditions. I'll let you look up more.
Thanks for looking at my blog. I use all sorts of cameras (well, 3!). The insect macros are usually with my Canon DSLR and macro lens, bird photos with Powershot SX50 which is a superzoom and some with my compact Sony Cybershot. :-)
