All tinned plum tomatoes are not the same...
'Napolina' are better than Tesco own label, I've just discovered.
Nescafe is also better than own label, but I boycotted them long ago (baby milk powder to Third World) so that leaves me in a quandary...
I think Heinz beans is another..
Would be interested to learn from you of others. I think you're more advanced consumers than me. Particularly welcome would be preferences based on packaging, favourite actor promotes the product, reminds you of a boyfriend, etc, etc, anything at all irrational and girly....

I don't think that Dulux paint can be beaten for coverage Anything else is total rubbish. Which reminds me - must do painting

I think Heinz beans is another.. .. Heinz Beanz are ok but I prefer Branstons Baked beans, their sauce is a tad tastier , but I think thats down to personal taste and not a quality issue. Heinz Tomato soup is the best and also Walkers Cheese & onion Crisps are the best in the World in fact all Walkers crisps are far superior to anything else. but I would say that as they are made in Leicester

Gotta agree on Walkers, Cobra, but only because of Linneker, who I liked in his day, and like today for his charisma..
Ali, I don't often glaze pies with paint, but when I do I shall start using Dulux...

.... and Branston, Cobra, being a sub-brand of Crosse & Blackwell, is also part of the Nestle group....
When anyone is next visiting South America look out for the brand 'Comestibles La Rosa' who make biscuits. It's also part of the Nestle Group....

It's extremely difficult to avoid Nestle, and they said as much at least 7 years ago, since when their control of global foodstuffs has vastly increased.

HP brown sauce is one of my favourites but I have learnt to live without it since moving here. Hellmans mayonnaise and Heinz salad cream are also preferred brands.
Walkers crisps ? are Lays manufactured by same company as they look very similar in packaging.
Tayto is and Irish brand and they make the BEST chesse and onion crisps ever!
