Blimey, troll, I might even agree with you...
I use a measure of 1 barrowful/m2, which would equate to the same as you, and is simpler than trying to measure 3/4 inch, you'll agree...
I think we might be getting somewhere...

Nope, sorry, don't agree!! One barrowful for you is almost certainly not the same as for me. I have to negotiate a steep slope and experience has taught me NOT to overload the barrow. by the way, what do you think of colloidal humus?

We have a lot of trees which look dead at the back no fruit hardly any leaves in the summer. Decided to cut them down when we have the time but unsure if we can plant other trees.Brother in law gave ud two Damson saplings to plant.

Dear sabjac, Without knowing why your trees are dying - disease or just old age - I wouldn't risk putting your new sapplings in the same spot.....

Dear troll person,
Thank you for drawing the distinction between a heaped barrowful and a level barrowful. It's just the sort of precision, and therefore, manliness, I'm looking for in my correspondents....
I'd like to go further, and therefore a little more manly, by pointing out that not all wheelbarrows are the same size...
When I refer to a 'barrowful' I mean a heaped, 80 - 100 litre, single-wheeled builder's type, and NOT the 150 litre, double-wheeled equestrian type...
I'd also like to point out that it's NOT necessary to shout at me in capitals, because I'm NOT deaf...
Yours, encouraged by your manliness,
annon

Dearest annon, whilst I'm delighted that you've admitted in other threads that you are "in tune with your feminine side", I do NOT regard it as a compliment to be described as "manly"
