My big Sis always makes me one of these to return to france with as I love it. she gave the recipe to my daughter so she could bake one, not that she ever haas though. Suppose I could try it myself but I'm bloody useless at baking. Banana Cake1 1/2/ oz of melted butter 1 egg 5 oz caster sugar 3 ripe bananas 3/4 teaspoon Bi carb of soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 8oz SR Flour Whisk egg, add melted butter and sugar and mix well. Mash bananas with a fork and add to mixture. sieve flour salt & bicarb and fold into banana mixture Walnuts can be added if desired . put in a greased loaf tin and bake for 40 mins at 160' C now I've just typed that out it doesnt seem that difficult I might try it myself

Even my eldest son can make that Actually it is the only cake he makes! That is because they always buy more bananas than they can eat. Even his girlfriend has asked him to vary the cake menu from time to time
