I thought this was going to be a thread moaning about the ruddy wind and all the peas and mange tout and broad beans falling over and all those double rows ending up one big mess all entwined. Start off with piggy twee sticks, reinforce with every bleedy bamboo cane available and then string and then more bamboo canes to try to hold them upright! Like mine. I've never had any problems growing peas direct in the ground? Pigeons never interested in my veg patch? Why don't I have a problem? Spent an hour podding a whole trugful the other day and I only grow them for The Terminator!
