So Mr K and I have agreed to shove something in the slow cooker for dinner tomorrow as we're both up to our backsides in other stuff!
We have: Chicken breasts Red Pepper Onions Mushrooms Leeks Carrots (I think!) Stuffing and Asda chicken gravy granules.... Sounds easy peasy I know but have way too much stuffing and want to use a packet - suggestions please??? Thanks x

Chicken breasts Red Pepper Onions Mushrooms Leeks Carrots (I think!) Stuffing and Asda chicken gravy granules.... Leave the chick fillets whole. Chop up hunions and gently fry til softer. Chop up red pepper. Chop up carrots to about 2cm blocks. Chuck chook, peppers n hunions in slo-cooker with about 300ml watter, and salt n pepper. Slo cook for around 2 hrs. When finished strain off liquid into a s/pan, add a spoonful of grav grans whilst stirring over medium heat, check if thick nuff, if not sling some more in. Taste. Sling the now 'gravy' back into slo-cooker with sliced mushrooms and let fester for around 1/2 hr whilst drinking wine/beer. Voila. Sod the stuffing (that can keep) and use the leeks for a leek and potato soup in the slo-cooker the next day Does that help? xx

Unless........you make up the stuffing and slit the chicken breasts open to make a pocket and stuff the stuffing in, secure with a bit of cooking twine (or a cocktail stick) - brown in a pan with a bit of butter and smidge of olive oil, pop in slow-cooker, then fry off rest of chopped up veg in remaining butter, when softened add about 2 tablespoons of flour, stir and "cook off", then add about 300ml chicken stock, bring to boil, pour over chicken in slow cooker, cook on low for about 6-8 hours....might be nice? I don't like stuffing, so.. but.....worth a try?
