Well I would shove them under a decidousoususus (a bush or tree wot looses its leaves in winter) coz they would make a spring display and if you also shoved some crocusususususez in there too it'll be a right picture it would. Next year they'd come back and they wouldn't take much looking after.
Well thats wot I think anyway.

Great ideas from Ali and CW .... whatever you do, don't put them in planters which you are going to plant up with summer flowering plants later on...... there won't be room unless you lift them out first.
If you have a hedge with a border, you could plant them in from of the hedge.....

I think they are often sold as bedding plants so you can either plant them in your planters for a month or so then you have to move them to put your geraniums (or whatever is going there) in for the summer...... or just plant them here and there in shadyish spots in the garden, as they will come back and flower again next year as they are perennial plants.
They'll only be flowering during the spring by the way.

Thanks for all the suggestions, ladies...... They will of course be going onto the rather large list of tasks I'm compiling to keep Mr K occupied while I'm away!

They would go well under fuschias, if you were lucky enough to have any I have primroses all along under my fuschias that grow up the driveway - so we get a lovely show of fuschias in the summer, and old fashioned pale yellow primroses from autumn through to spring.
