They look lovely, ali ....... put all my bulbs in late October .... some of them are shooting up already!!!!!
My Nasturtiams(?spelling) are still in leaf from the summer ... I had all leaves and no flowers. So suppose they won't flower this year, either!
Went out to check on some young shrubs that I planted early Autumn, they seem to be doing OK. Want to sew some lavender seeds shortly, but they won't flower, I don't think, until next year, is that right?

My flowers are mad this year - my camellia is in full flower, yet the leaves have not yet all fallen from the magnolia, the primroses are in flower under the fuschias which are also still in flower!

Last of your autumn jobs completed?? What about the ivy That's a winter job and I hacked at that yesterday afternoon in the sun surrounded by chickens - had a great time! Hopefully the frost last night will have killed off a few things so I can start more winter jobs like clearing the veg patch.
