OK cheers. I probably sound pathetic but it's not a size I can visualise - like when people talk about 'pints' of prawns, I think kilos, cos prawns aren't a liquid!

And what about recipes with 'cups'? Unless there is a conversion or you know whether said cups are antipodean, american or european........

Hmmmmmm yes and the worst is when they say "one cup of chopped green peppers" which really gives you an idea of how many you need to buy for the recipe.

Ive just made my roast and it is one pint not two, in fact it comes halfway up the tin so you would need double to fill a two pinter
