Galettes Yeaaaaaahhhh, last night I decided to have another go at home-made Breton galettes. The first attempt some while ago wasn't too good. I am very pleased to report that these are brilliant, I think the difference is that this time I put some bicarb in the mix to make bubbles. Next experiment is to freeze them coz the mix made about 12 ! Recep is: 250g ble noir, 1 small egg, salt, water and a drop of milk, whizzed up with the whisk with 1/2 tsp bicarb soda. Mix is like cream consist. Left in fridge for a few hours. Then very hot flat pan and cook til edges turn then turn over.
