Carrefour at St Brieuc has it and it is called filo pastry, there is a thing called brick that is a bit like filo but not exactly the same but you can buy it every where.

The brick is brill. Is in flat square packaging in the chiller. Comes in sheets so can be used for allsorts. Makes lovely starters with a filling in, tied at the top and baked/deep fried. Can also use multi sheets for samosas etc. Can't think of any supermarket that doesnt stock it round here.

I like brick too. My "can't find" is glace cherries. Used up my imported supply, and want to make Christmas cakes. Any body seen any over here?

Yep - but I can't remember where I bought them. I'll take a look at them when I get home - if they are a supermarket's own it'll say so on them. I'll be home Sunday

Glace cherries .... you can buy them over here, I get mine from Auchan ... will have a look in a couple of other supermarks and let you know!

They are in the expensive baking section of every supermarket but they are expensive here.
