For the first time ever I've been catty squishing blerggg.
In the past the courage has not been summoned enough, would normally flick them off, but yesterday I felt brave. Its actually quite a sensation isn't it - especially if you name them first ;D

Don't worry sweetheart - they're only cabbage cattys and there are fields of cabbages not too far away that they can go chew, I only have 4 PSB plants that I'm guarding I am a good girl, the flower gardens are full of flutterybys at the moment coz I grow flowers specially for them and for the bees, open petals so they can nectar at will. I have hundreds of Asters covered in bys as we speak (maybe I'll go take some photos tomorrow) the sedum is almost ready, ivy, fennel, bind-weed (yes I have that too ) verbena from Madame M - am I let off?

I'm the same with the cabbage cattys - they do smell awful, though, don't they?
I can also pick up the gigantic slugs in my bare hands now and send them flying over into the farmer's field, next door

Do I need to check the Chinese cabbage Ali? Don't know if it is a true brassica - but the leaves are hairy so won't be easy to roll off/squidge little tiny c/pillars.
