No, it's not too late - but check what variety seed you have, elfyx, some are better as autumn/winter crop

Lettuce, spring onion, radish, rocket, pak choi, coriander, French beans. Anything that only needs a couple of months or less to be pickable.

Cabbage, normal onions to over-winter, endives and chicory, turnips, sweedes, errrr run out now

Are we talking sowing from seed or planting out already small plants? Cos then all the winter cabbagey things like PSB and curly kale is ready to plant out now, and leeks for transplanting etc. You can buy some of those things (minus the kale and PSB) in France in the garden centres and market stalls.
I've just sown some more beetroot too as that only needs 2 months to a reasonable size, 3 months to huge.
