Well its like this................
I went and bought a cheapie Lidls bottle of equiv 'Baileys' to make some ice-cream with.
Now, this bottle contained 750ml of Lidls equiv.
The ice-cream recep needed 65.2 ml
I made the ice-cream and hands-up it was very well accepted, indeed there were cries of 'more, more'.
However.............
Revisiting the said 750ml bottle this evening I find that I cannot produce anymore Lidls Baileys ice-cream on account of the bottle is vide.
Could anybody please explain to me this mystery and what steps should be taken in the future?

When it say in the recipe - reduce the alcohol by half, it doesn't mean drink it.

On a serious note, I use Super U's own brand ground almonds for a dessert and they are ALWAYS short measure! They say 62.5 g in each little half box, so the 2 should be 125 right? But it is always more like 110 - very naughty I think! So either it's the same thing or.......u did, absent-mindedly of course!.......finish the bottle.

Har har har ................
Certainly am going to weigh the ground almonds in future! May be there was a reasonable explanation to the short measures in the Lidls Baileys after-all come to think of it..........

Evaporation can be a problem, Jean doesn't understand that a glass of wine poured before dinner can evaporate so quickly that another glass needs pouring before the meal is served.
