I'm not sure if this is what it is called, but what is that thing you do with hard boiled eggs where you halve them, take the yolks out, do something with them (mix with what?) then prettily pipe the mix back into the whites again?
And can I do it with the corner cut off a placcy bag cos I don't have a piping thingy?
Have had brill idea of using up LOADS of eggs to take this to our hamlet do on Sunday, as unfortunately my cheesecake doesn't use any!

Thanks but I don't actually want hot 'devilled' eggs for French people - I just don't know what it is actually called - my hubby thought it might be called devilled eggs! My neighbours don't even understand cucumbers or basil or coriander, let alone spicy food. Might just have to be mayo - parsley not doing much yet - wonder if chives would work?

Brilliant, thanks Tinks now I know what it is called. And not unknown to the French either! So chives and mayo it is with a sprinkling of paprika on top. Will look at some of the recipes too as maybe I'll do half of one thing and half of another. Don't want to go to too much trouble - just want to get rid of some eggs! ;D

Well done MM !! All the food for my girls is now bought from money from their henny-penny-box. I have 2 major clients who are now fighting over who gets the eggs first due to my current egg count being down!
I haven't made an omlette for ages and the last cake was June 24th !
