Wait til it forms buds in the autumn, then dry well before smoking

What will grow well in Brittany, outside with no extra heat; or have you a outside heater?

Dunno much about new grass, does it say on the packet when to mow it? Or you could google it.
I would have thought leaving it for 2 weeks would be fine, cos mowing too early might destroy it. At least it has been wetted for you and should keep on growing rather than die whilst you are away.
We've just resown some bare patches but I can see after 2.5 weeks since it started growing it is still way too fine to mow or tread on yet.

Cut when the grass has reached about 2 inches. Always cut high to start with. I reckon if it is not high enough to cut then leave it til your return, Christine

How did your grass turn out, ElfyX? Just that new grass from seed often turns out thin, and this would be a good time to over-sow with more seed.
