For the animal bit, grilled chicken breasts. For a veggie accompaniment jacket potato with a mayonnaise, chopped boiled egg, garlic and parsley filling.
I always felt better as soon as I entered my vegetarian doctor's surgery. He always looked awful with a sallow, yellowish tinge.

Wear your carnivorous colours with pride, bendodds..
Your don't say whether your chicken breasts come from intensively-farmed birds, or from those which cluck about in loads of room. There are some ethical differences, and it's a brave man who would argue in favour of one type of farming or another, so I won't go there...
At the risk of looking a little peeky like your doctor, I'm eating cauliflower cheese and not much else. The cauliflower is homegrown and organic - no harm done to furry-wurry animals and licky-wicky insects - so that should appease some of the loony food nuts out there, but not all of them, cos I'm also eating dairy products, and I don't think vegans would approve of that...

It is going to be a surprise tonight because we have been invited to our daughter's for dinner. Too many risks associated with veganism for me.

For lunch today (not tea LOL), I'm making my 'signature' soup, Pennsylvania Chowder....which is vegetarian but not vegan (as it contains milk and butter)

Thai fish curry and rice.
The fish is 'Basa'. It comes from a river in Vietnam. It was processed and packaged in Poland. Mr Tesco sold it to me as something cheaper than cod. It's farmed over there. What on earth is going on?
It's cheaper to ship fish halfway round the world than it is to catch 'em ourselves, or farm them ourselves, in local waters?
The World Economic Order is a man-made mess and works to exploit the weak for the benefit of the strong, namely the West, and particularly the USA. Tesco makes me spit, so does the decadent West. I make this known so that you don't find yourself buying Basa unwittingly, when you could pay more for local production/do without entirely/ catch something edible yourself.....

Had asparagus from Peru last week! Power station near to us has "converted" from local coal to bio-mass from the USA!

Shame attaches to eaters of Peruvian asparagus, except if eaten by Peruvians in Peru, or by anyone visiting Peru, and who like asparagus...
More shame attaches to exporters of bio-mass. Burn it yourselves, you numpties! Then you won't have to invade foreign countries, full of shock and awe, to secure your oil supplies!

As my Charlotte potatoes are kicking in, big-time, and runner beans picked young (about 7" long) are spewing everywhere, I'm gonna eat 'em tonight.....
Why would I choose anything else? Let's not look a gift-horse in the mouth. I'm living the dream. What, on God's earth, could be better? I am NOT gonna go out and get a take-away. I'd have to be brain-dead, and I'm not that...,.
