Very interesting for folk who need access to their data when away from their main machine. It has had rave reviews in Mac magazines and websites since 2008, and seems a good solution for access anywhere, anytime, to data put in the DropBox - but not to anything not stored there, i.e. elsewhere, and protected, on your own hard drives.
The only question I have is "Who holds the data?" which seems a reasonable question if there is any secure data to be stored. Is it another of these sites that can use your data, or some of it, for marketing purposes?
I'm always a bit suspicious of what seems to be a free lunch - just look at Google and what they store up every time you use them.

what free lunch? it's a teaser!! the free version gives you 2gig and from then on you pay. Once you start using it you won't look back and in no time flat you'll be on a pay version.
Sue uses it all the time it's much better than GoogleDocs and way way better than using LogMeIn or GoToMyPC to access folders on your own PC and makes netbooks work as they were intended.
