Saw a kestrel today hovering in a big blue sky, tail feathers spread out in a fan....
He hovered, looked, moved to somewhere else, looked again, then moved off again....
You can see it on the telly. You can pick it up on your phone. But you can't live it like that.....
ps: Also came across a big rat in the garden which didn't run away. It just stared at me. Later I found it dead. Somebody must've poisoned it. It made me sad.

Just love to see kestrels, I'm fortunate where I live to have a lot of birds of prey around, buzzards falcons etc.

Glad that you can make any connection at all with what I say, littlemouse....
As to buzzards, they're making a come-back here in the UK.... In France, it seems to me, they never went away..
They're part of the landscape. And they're massive. So massive that they almost make my willy go hard (Admin, am I allowed to say that?). F**ck you, Admin, if I'm not....

Is that after its been bitten or before? Or perhaps the spelling should be Bittern not quite sure, but as I have n't seen either perhaps the spelling doesn't matter.
