I don't think that this term is complimentary, but I admit to not really knowing what it means when used to refer to certain types of people.
I know what snowflakes are when they fall from the sky, all fluffy, but shurley this point can't be relevant in a Motors and Sports thread??
The clue could be in the word 'fluffy'. People who are referred to as 'Snowflakes' are fluffy, in a derogatory way. Err.. where's this post going? I dunno. Call me fluffy. Call me Snowflake.

....actually after quiet reflection, and while staring my grave in the face - cos I'm gonna die soon - and so are you - so why bother worrying about wrinkles, why bother buying anti-ageing cream, why worry about looking sexy, when no-one in their right mind would want to f**ck you (or at least not in my case), why not comment on the world that you're about to leave behind, happy in the knowledge that no-one gives a f***ck either way?
In this way you will die happy. The young are precious - oh well! - and the old demand respect - and don't get it - oh well!
There's a serious risk of my demanding respect, and not getting it, which could make me squinny about life not being fair - which would then make me an old snowflake - and I've read so many more books than everyone else, but that doesn't count for anything.... oh well!
Snowflakes of the world, young and old, as a coping mechanism just think 'oh well!'
