A warm-climate crop sown despite the Beast from the East. To be later planted into a clay-based soil, when they'd rather be planted into a sandy, light soil. Such is their genetic and natural choice...
We seem to get away with murder. We seem to cock a snoop at Something Else. To fashion things in our own image. We seem to break all the rules...
Do it. Cos Nature is forgiving, tolerant. We can learn so much by it.
