The previous post on Teachers was hijacked by another member, who turned it into a personal attack, but along came the then Administrator to lock the thread, so the subject never got an airing....
(Fortunately) neither of the two is an active member now, and so at the most basic level Freedom of Speech is not denied now....
To recap, my personal experience has led me to conclude that the teaching 'profession' has a lot to answer for. I lay the blame for Young Offenders, the illiterate and those with few prospects at the teachers' door, first and foremost.
Do your job, or get off the payroll, and stop trying to find excuses is the gist of what I have to say, based on my personal experience.
Rationally, my own experience is not statistically significant, when considered alongside the total population of teachers.
I even concede, in the God thread, that I have had some outstanding teachers. So the door was, and still is left wide open to refute my negative observations, based on your own experience.
Never could their* be a more inclusive topic. We've all had teachers...
Given your marked reluctance to say anything, ever, there now follows a few possible replies to my post:
" Annon, I'm a former teacher, and was a damned good one, and just because I found pubescent females extremely alluring does not mean that I wasn't"
" Being accused of kiddy-fiddling and having a penchant for young boys doesn't make me a sexual deviant - define
'sexual deviant'!
"We're both retired teachers living in France and proud of our careers. Our fat pensions are the least we deserve.
In his well-earned rest my husband reads Netball Monthly and watches the girls play at the local lycee. What's wrong with that? What's your point?
You see? It's that easy to come back at me....
* This should be, of course, spelt 'there' - blame the teachers for under-performing, pitiably, on teaching me to spell...
