Channel 4, weekdays 1800-1830
Those of us still based in the UK, and not living in the permanent swamp that is Northern France, get our Homer.
It may be available by satellite, for all I know, or in box-sets from Amazon (don't forget to complain if it doesn't arrive next day, at no extra cost).
As a loveable numpty Homer is the best. With supporting roles from the other characters The Simpsons satirizes The American Way and pokes fun at the British. You may recognise yourself in it.

....from which we learn that Homer is not such a numpty and knows how to 'chill'. Everyone can learn from Homer...

.....I continue to catch the Simpsons....
Old repeats are aired on channel 4 (for free!) while Sky broadcasts newer series (not for free!).
F*ck Sky! The old series don't date! I've seen repeats of repeats and they still don't date!
I alert you to Mr Burns. Along with all the other characters this guy is a gem. Those clever, clever writers..... It's starting to look like we did the right thing to magnanimously give the Americans their independence, to let them flourish and become the greatest Nation on Earth, all 200 millions of them....
We can learn from them. While despising the crassness of their way of life... And the insidious nature of their influence on other cultures which surely don't share their values.... Still, everything out of America is not all bad....
