Probably not, but thought I'd ask. Frustrating on another forum where the username I wanted could only be without spaces, seems a bit silly like that.
Lots of useful looking gadgets to beautify my post, no doubt to be discovered in due course.
I'm a member of AI, occasionally, and UIB, regularly, but thought I'd have a look at what the 'competition' has to offer, though it's not really competition, all sites are complementary. Have noticed when guesting some negative comments about UIB, not all merited, though those about AngloInfo tend to be correct.
Let's see what replies I get, anyhoo.

Hi Marcopolo (or Marco Polo if we could) I don't think you can have a space, because of HTML issues perhaps. You could try putting an underscore: Marco_Polo.
I don't doubt we share some members with UIB, it's a little like this used to be with games etc. We don't seem to have the membership to support that sort of thing nowadays.

You want space? Yes certainly you can have space, as much as you wish.
What the eck is UIB? I am out of date it seems.

Thanks, Ali! As you can see, it worked.
Yes, sonnetpete, there are current and possibly ex-members of BWI on United in Brittany - did you mean that UIB is like this site used to be? As for games, there are only three on UIB, but they have regular contributors. By the way, your username is sonnetpete but your avatar is Sonic, why not sonicpete?

Yes, we used to have quite a few online word games etc. and a weekly quiz in the chat box.
Well, I do write poetry, hence the username. However, I was referred to as 'Sonic' so the avatar seemed appropriate...

I stumbled on UIB a few weeks ago. It is a fairly new forum which has grown to be similar to this one was in it's heyday with a good variety of topics to get involved in. I am not an ex member here, I am still hoping things will pick up and look in most days but with so few active members at the moment it is difficult to respond to or know how to engage with others. Bit of a catch 22!
I do hope things get better soon.
