Not a thread about cruises...............
However, I thought it may be nice for posters to have a place to inform others about movies, stage events or concerts that are coming up or that they are going to.....so to begin...
Sunday we are off to Fougeres to see "Manchester By The Sea" and hopefully the Saturday after, "La La Land"...both in VO with subtitiles..

We don't do the cinema much, although did go to see fantastic creatures....(think that was the title)... it's the new jk Rowling. Anyway we took the grandchildren a couple of weeks ago....have to say I wasn't much impressed, although I do confess to liking the Harry Potter stuff, but this was just making up the numbers.
Couple of days ago saw the new film version of absolutely fabulous.......despite a cast of loads of well know faces, I can only describe it as much ado about nothing.....only watched it as it as we were travelling and it was the least evil of the in flight movies.

Manchester By The Sea is a great movie. However, it's slow to get going and even then hardly gets up to trotting speed. Casey Affleck is outstanding in this movie though and I'd say it was worth going to see.

La La Land...Love, love, loved it....vintage feel, full of colour, song and dance. Well acted with the right amount of humour and emotion. If you get a chance to see it, go....

Was thinking of going to see "Il a tes yeux déjà" yesterday, but weather was crappy, so gave it a miss.

Ha, no, it was so wet and blustery that we changed our minds about leaving the comfort of home.
