As a rule of thumb, we tend to avoid anywhere that has photos of their dishes on a board outside (they rarely bear any resemblance to whats actually put in front of you) and other places that offer a huge choice of courses, as that usually indicates frozen not fresh. We try not to use 'chain' restaurants, though we have found 'Court Paille' and 'Pataterie' to be very good in both food and service...
