This post is pitched at those living in retirement, off a pension.
I will make a number of points. I will give examples to back-up my points. I will not state a top-of-my head opinion without going on to explain why I hold that opinion. I will not debase the debate by making giggly school-girl quips and posting fatuous one-liners.
This post is for grown-ups. Please do not banalise the topic, and reduce it to your level. I'm not expecting any replies. Because as I've said before you don't know how to debate. But I'll proceed anyway, for the benefit of non-members, some of which will be able to understand what I mean.

I consider that I could contribute in an adult and meaningful way to this topic.
Unfortunately my propensity to fall into giggly quips and clever (fatuous!) one liners seem to preclude me from this chat.

Yes, lib, I dare say you can, and you may be alone in taking something from both worlds... I can't, or rather I reserve the giggly school-girl stuff for knee-tremblers behind the bike-sheds...
At least you get my meaning. Pity you can't participate further. Participation is not what I expect anyway. My expectations are low. Very...
