I don't know how many of you are Welsh, or are football fans...or even Welsh football fans but the Welsh National squad are using the Novotel Thalassa at Dinard as a base during the European Championships...

I don't think they expect to progress very far, even with Gareth Bale playing, so it may not be Dinard Airport but an exit via kayaks across the Channel. (The Novotel in Dinard is right by the beach so the latter is possible). The hotels facilities must be good (or the deal they got was) as it's hundreds of kilometres away from any of the grounds where their matches are. (Bordeaux, Lens and Toulouse)

Well Wales are s'posed to be playing Slovakia in Bordeaux on Saturday, maybe a cheap RyanAir flight'll get them there (sheep n all) or I wonder if they take a bus?
Good job the Uk is still in Europe ! Think of the millions of £££££'s football would loose if BritExits............ just a thought whilst I was typing.

Probably a good 5 - 6 hour drive to Bordeaux so I doubt it will be a bus. You can fly direct from Rennes to Bordeaux so maybe that's the way they'll go.
I don't think that a Brexit would affect football that much, after all British clubs were playing in European competitions long before we joined the Common Market...

If it did affect movement of players they would need work permits I'd guess (much as non EU players do). Stay or leave, Britain would still be a non Schengen agreement country, as it is now.
