For those that have followed my exploits over the past 2 years on here, FB and maybe other places here's where I'll be from this Monday for the following 2 weeks: www.lesormes.com/fr/vacances-a-sejours/restauration/auberge-de-la-cour-verteIf you are within reach do book a table, would love to 'serve you' on your lap or if I miss perhaps the floor hehehehhehehe - only kidding - the course has been 'silver service' so I hope not to cock up. In short : Last year did 3 months course full time to 'change metier' Followed by 2 months working at St Malo at a hotel This year 3 months training for official qual as a waitress Followed by 6 months contract pro at Les Ormes (In November the exams to actually qualify officially) In ans to questions I guess will arise - yes - biz that have had for past 10 years is still on-going. You will be moved Working in France ain't easy - and it takes a lot of time (well in my case anyway) to get where one wants to. If anyone ever wants to chat privately about how to get onto the system of work please send me a msg. Equally on this forum we have a huge amount of experience through our members here.

Well done Ali, I work also but only a few hours a week with an Agency and I must admit I don't mind the work but I hate getting phone calls and emails with new work that I find a bit difficult to understand. At the moment I'm trying to get someone to work for me a few hours in the garden not difficult you would think >:(I have asked French they don't turn up and Brits who I thought would like the work as they are fit and they moan all the time they are skint but so far nobody seems to want the work!! Sorry moan over
