On the back seat of the car. Only use them for guests now as the crust is way too hard for partial dentures! Even 30 years ago for a week before we left for our holiday in France we ate baguettes in England to harden up our gums!

Personally I don't eat them because of the crust. When we do get them they are usually on the back seat of the car in a 'baguette bag'....

I have usually picked off most of the crust and eaten it long before it gets home.....lov the crunchy bit!

I bought a bike for €20, the idea being it would give me a little exercise each day cycling to the shop for the baguette, Jean made me a bag for the bread which I could sling over my shoulder. Unfortunately the bike is too big for me , I still use the bag though. Anybody want a gents bike for €20, lots of gears and everything works just fine.
