No we're not quite deadeddeedd yet, but we are 'in decline'. There's not that many polite and beautiful UK-ex-pats left in Brittany but those that are in Brittany have made a success of it and we're here OOOOPS and NORMANDIE D It's a cool thing to do happygirl, those sorts of do's, and great contribs too

I think too many came over here with the wrong ideas,and desperation drove them to be iffy,many have nothing to be happy about,life is what you make it anywhere in the world.

Anne & I are part timers, it suits us and we enjoy both Brittany and Yorkshire. However, we have far more friends and acquaintances here in Brittany. Today we went to a bird show because the owner of our local pizzeria told us about it last Friday. We found out that he is an exotic bird breeder. Whilst their we saw numerous French friends and had a good time. Back to the thread now. I make fruit scones regularly but mine always come out crumbly so I stick them together with butter to eat!!!
