Rather than continue this on the photo comp I have asked on a new one. DG - I am interested in your piccy in the photo comp - very unusual arches - especially as you say it is part of the voie verte near Carhaix. I am wondering if this is the defunct railway track that goes from Carhaix to St Meen le Grand, and if so where exactly it is, as we has set ourselves a mission to do the whole length (if the leg will hold up.) So far we have done Merdignac - Loudeac - twice if you consider we have to go back to the car - I manage about 5k at a time (ie 2 1/2k new so it will take some time so its nice to identify the most intersting parts first) So far we have identified 2 favourite bits betweem Plemet and Lurenan, and just south of the N164 at La Prenessaye
