Have you thought about uploading your footage to a cloud server? (eg dropbox.com) The problem with that is internet availability whilst touring....though if the GoPro had a usb slot maybe you could download to a large memory key as an alternate...

This had been going to be another question - (but at a later date so i don't sound so numpty all in one go) We should have internet access at almost all of our hotels.

GoPro HERO4 Black 2x the performance, yet again. Simply the best. Features 4K30, 2.7K604 and 1080p120 video, 12MP photos up to 30 frames per second, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®, and Protune™ for photos and video. Waterproof to 131’ (40m). Bis what have you done! I am severely tempted now lol (apart from the fact I'm cashless I'd get one!) Was just looking at the GoPro hero4. Yes, realise it's expensive but divide by the amount of years you'll be enjoying it for and I think it's an investment well worthwhile. Built in WiFi so I guess you could upload to anywhere.... equally BlueTooth - shares files directly from the camera to your Blackberry.... "Control, view and share with built-in Wi-Fi + Bluetooth. HERO4 Black features built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®, allowing you to connect to the GoPro App, Smart Remote2 and more. The GoPro App transforms your phone or tablet into a live video remote for your camera, offering full control of all functions and settings, easy shot preview and playback, plus sharing via text, email, Facebook and more. The Smart Remote allows you to control multiple GoPro cameras from distances of up to 600’ (180m)." PHWARRRRRRR shop.gopro.com/EMEA/cameras/hero4-black/CHDHX-401-master.html

Having looked at mine just turned to the left on it's windscreen mounting the picture is excellent, no vibration at all. However, even with it being mounted as high as possible, you don't see much.
