...So what makes a fruit a fruit and a vegetable a vegetable? Thought the quiz was suspended for the summer....... (Actually it's a fruit. Botanically, it's a large berry with a single seed) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avacado

I am not a great fan of vegetables, I suppose I am the opposite of a vegetarian A rough guide for me is that in the main, vegetables grow in the ground and fruit grows on plants, trees and bushes. I loved a quote I heard the other day when someone was offered a plate of salad; "That's not food, it's what food eats"

A fruit to me is something that can reproduce - something with a seed .....
But then a potato has eyes and can re-produce ..... mmmmm ... still pondering
